November 27, 2017 – It was a busy – and very good – weekend for Kanata-Carleton PC members who joined Dr. Merrilee Fullerton and participated in the Ontario PC Convention in Toronto. Progressive Conservatives from across Ontario gathered over this past weekend to plan for a provincial election campaign expected to be called by Premier Kathleen Wynne for early June.
Dr. Fullerton states the convention is the start of the Ontario PC Party’s march to defeat Kathleen Wynne and her Liberal Government. “The convention weekend was positive, energetic, forward-looking. We are all eager for the up-coming election and look forward to engaging Ontarians in our approach to governing for all in need of affordable healthcare and hydro, good education and reliable programs and services.”
“The weekend’s highlight was Leader Patrick Brown unveiling the PC Party’s core election pledge “The People’s Guarantee”, and Dr. Fullerton adds, “This is a pledge to provide Ontarians with a responsible alternative to the Liberals’ tired, unethical brand of politics that we have all witnessed through the last 14 years.”

The central promises made in The People’s Guarantee are:
